AICA-Canada is the Canadian chapter of the International Association of Art Critics, AICA. We are the first and only organization of professionals of art, involved in the interpretation, dissemination and noncommercial promotion of visual and media arts in Canada. Founded in 1955, the Canadian chapter of this international association has more than 70 members across the country, working in various spheres of the arts community.
In conjunction with the International Executive Board, AICA-Canada contributes to the promotion of contemporary art and freedom of expression in the visual arts and the development of national and international cooperation in art criticism.
